Bacco
Bacco al Pretorio welcomes guests into an elegant and intimate setting, where warmth, care, and attention to detail create a distinctive atmosphere in the heart of Rome. The restaurant is located in the Castro Pretorio district, between Via Nomentana and Piazza della Repubblica, and has been run by the Di Clemente family since 2022.
Our Cusine
The cuisine at Bacco al Pretorio is rooted in Italian tradition and Roman character, with a style defined by flavour, balance, and a clear sense of identity. Carefully composed dishes, seasonal ingredients, and a contemporary approach free from excess shape a menu designed around the pleasure of the table. Marco Cirone has led the kitchen brigade since the restaurant opened in 2022.

Dehor Area
In the warmer months, the dehor becomes a quiet green corner in the heart of the city. A contemporary urban garden where guests can enjoy the Bacco al Pretorio experience in a relaxed and private atmosphere.
Salotto Area
The Salotto is the space dedicated to private events and occasions that call for a more exclusive setting. Ideal for business lunches and dinners, celebrations, and special gatherings, it offers an intimate atmosphere and attentive, dedicated service.
Dining Room
In the dining room, Bacco al Pretorio expresses its idea of hospitality through a setting that is elegant, welcoming, and never overly formal. It is a place where guests can feel at ease and enjoy the experience of the table in a natural and relaxed way. Francesca and Inna will always be there to welcome you.
Wine Cellar
The wine cellar at Bacco al Pretorio has been created to accompany the cuisine with balance, depth, and harmony. Curated together with Rome’s historic Enoteca Trimani, the selection includes wines, spirits, and timeless after-dinner classics chosen to complement every stage of the dining experience. A thoughtful collection designed to enrich the table with well-matched pairings and characterful choices.
